The Luxair design is ideal for transit and coach bus applications. Utilizing the respected vehicle dynamics expertise of Hendrickson, Luxair can be packaged with a number of air springs and shock absorbers to ensure best-in-class performance no matter the application. The light-weight, efficient design maintains the durability required for demanding transit and coach bus applications.
Offered in capacities up to 14 tons (T), the Luxair was designed specifically for applications where light weight, durability and passenger comfort are essential. With its robust construction, the product ensures exceptional reliability in various road conditions. Utilizing high volume air springs, Luxair delivers an outstanding level of passenger comfort, superb handling, and a substantial reduction in road-induced shock loads.
In addition, Luxair utilizes TRAXX ROD , torque rods strategically designed by Hendrickson for exceptional walk out performance. The TRAXX ROD family of torque rods are available in multiple lengths without tooling and come with the highest level of durability. With its fabricated construction, Luxair is available in bolted, huck and welded versions. The Luxair design is compatible with C-Channel and Monocoque frames, and plumbing holes or mounting brackets can easily be added.
