Senior Management Engages with Media
SML Isuzu’s MD & CEO, Junya Yamanishi, engaged with key media representatives, outlining the company’s strategic vision, upcoming product innovations, and its commitment to expanding market share in the commercial vehicle segment. Senior management, including Rakesh Bhalla, CFO; Prashant Kumar, CGM – Marketing; Parvesh Madan, Company Secretary; and Anuj K. Sethi, AVP, shared insights into the development of new products and the thought process behind them.
Japanese Ambassador’s Visit
His Excellency Ono Keiichi, Japanese Ambassador to India, visited the SML Isuzu stand at Bharat Mobility, reinforcing the strong Indo-Japanese partnership in the automobile sector. He was welcomed by Prashant Kumar, Chief GM – Marketing, who provided insights into SML’s latest product advancements and growth strategies.

The five groundbreaking vehicles exhibited by SML ISUZU across the passenger and cargo segments were:
- Hiroi.ev – An eagerly awaited electric vehicle based on the Hiroi platform, designed for zero-emission intra- and inter-city transportation. It featured advanced telematics with SML Saarthi-Pro, twin doors, and an ergonomic design, marking a significant step toward green mobility.
- AASAI MX – A 12+1 Maxi-Cab Segment Bus tailored for efficient intra-city transportation, ensuring higher profitability with every trip.
- Premium Hiroi Bus (3430 Wheelbase) – A premium offering for staff shuttles and tour segments, equipped with pushback seats, ambient lighting, USB ports, and onboard entertainment for enhanced passenger comfort.
- AIS-125 D-Type Ambulance on Global Series Platform – A multi-stretcher ambulance designed to provide critical care during emergencies with reliability and precision.
- Samrat XT Plus Tipper Truck – A heavy-duty truck with an 11,100 kg GVW, built to maximize earnings per trip while efficiently handling voluminous loads.
