ACGL recently delivered a special application bus for Coca-Cola India for enabling the company to conduct training programme for customers. It took the ACGL team, which developed this coach concept, four months to put the vehicle on road.
The bus is being used by the customer for conducting training sessions for Coca-Cola dealers at various locations. Through this unique concept, Coca-Cola will reach out to all dealers at various locations instead of inviting them for training sessions at a fixed venue.
The coach has been built on LPO 1512/55 TATA chassis using ACGL’S Pleasure model. The bus has a wide curved front windshield and central passenger door, in addition to driver and co-driver doors. The coach is fitted with Modine MBA 260RSN A/C unit with cooling capacity of 26,000 Kcal. The power pack of the A/C unit is mounted at the rear to minimize noise transmission in the saloon.
The bus is also provided with fixed glasses for aesthetic appeal and to provide better cooling effect in the passenger saloon. The inside of the bus has 17 revolving chairs, integrated with side-arm tables that provide a congenial atmosphere for the conference participants.
The bus has a roomy interior with side cooling ducts with air outlet for each participant and the faculty. The saloon is provided with both AC and DC current interior lights, wide roof ventilators cum escape hatches. The LCD panel (52 inches) is fitted on the driver’s partition to provide a complete view of the display shown by the faculty to all the participants.
The saloon is provided with a sound system with cordless mike for the faculty and the participants. A special two-tier sleeping arrangement is also provided for the driver and co-driver. A 50-litre capacity refrigerator is also provided at the rear of the bus.
