Although Aeolus Tyres had already started modifying its production moulds and machines for a new generation of truck and trailer tyres, the takeover of Pirelli served as a catalyst for its growth-related ambitions. As a top 20 player, the brand wants to continue growing at worldwide level until it establishes itself firmly inside the top 10. Thanks to a partnership with Heuver Tyrewholesale, the brand has in the meantime become very popular among tyre retailers, transporters and the OEM in several European countries. The new generation of modern truck and trailer tyres, the NEO series, will be playing an important role in this ambition.
New series for extra growth
“In the truck sector, tyres have a major impact on the performance of companies. Manufacturers are always looking to improve existing series, because they realise that fuel consumption, kilometre efficiency and safety are decisive factors. Aeolus introduced the new ATR33 trailer tyre last year, after studying research we had carried out among European users and after performing comprehensive testing. This is actually the first tyre from the new NEO series and features technology like a 4-layer belt. It will play an important role for end users, but will also be appreciated in the OEM.
