The Association of Indian Forging Industry (AIFI) has appointed Mr. Asheet Pasricha, Joint Managing Director of Trinity Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Pune, and Mr. Ranbir Singh, Director, GNA Axles Pvt. Ltd., Punjab, as its President and Vice President respectively for 2013-14.
Mr. Asheet Pasricha spoke about the ambitious project of survey of the Indian forging industry launched earlier and his plans to work closely with his colleagues to tide over the crisis facing the industry.
During his two years, the erstwhile President, Mr. Modepalle Babu Rao, led large delegations of AIFI members to Korea for the fourth Asiaforge meet and to Japan to participate in the Asiaforge representatives’ meet. The World Bank-financed ‘Energy Efficiency’ programme for the MSME forging cluster of Pune was launched during his tenure.
