Alfa Abhirashi Group, a Faridabad-based manufacturer-exporter of heavy-duty automotive gauges such as temperature gauges, oil pressure gauges, fuel gauges & sensors, tachometers, speedometers and more, came to Automechanika Dubai brimming with confidence on the ‘make-in-India’ wave that was attracting global attention. Abhishek Jain, Incharge – Export Sales, shares his thoughts on his company’s participation.
Export Focus
We manufacture a wide range of products and are 100% into the aftermarket segment. Currently our focus is more towards heavy applications like trucks and industrial engines. Right from our inception we have been focused on exports so that we do not depend on customers in the domestic market. 15-20% of our business comes from the Middle East region, rest from other regions including US and Japan. We are here at Automechanika Dubai to grow our presence in the Middle East region and meet customers and distributors from this part of the world.
‘Make-in-India’
Business sentiments are looking much improved; the market is reviving quite strongly. With the ‘Make-in-India’ theme gaining attention around the world, I believe we have a great opportunity ahead of us. We are seeing excellent response for India-made products here at the show for which we have to thank our PM. The respect for brand India has grown tremendously and good times are coming up for all of us in business.
