Prawaas 2019, scheduled to be held during July 25-27, 2019, at the CIDCO Convention & Exhibition Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, is being organized by the Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI) and hosted by the Mumbai Bus Malak Sanghatana (MBMS) and the Federation of Tourists Taxi Operators (FOTTO) and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications as the Event Partner. The event has so far witnessed Curtain Raiser and Industry Meets at Mumbai, Trichy, Bangalore, Mangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi which was well attended by BOCI Leadership and over 3,000 Bus & Car Operators and Industry Leaders.
The exhibition spread over 1,50,000 sq. ft. is expected be a grand showcase of leading bus & car manufacturers, bus body builders, tyre manufacturers, seat manufacturers, battery manufacturers, air-conditioning, lights & LED displays, automotive paint, maintenance equipment & services, IT solutions, training & skills, finance & insurance, STUs & tourism boards, etc. The focus on electric mobility will be one of the main attractions of Prawaas 2019. It will feature exhibition, electric mobility showcase, buyer-seller meet conference, workshops, CEO conclave, policy makers round table, awards & celebrations, bus & car auction, etc.
Prawaas 2019 aims to bring public & private sector bus & car operators from 29 States and 7 Union Territories ensuring complete 360-degree reach for all the participants. It is expected that 4,000 bus & car operators, 100+ expert speakers, 150+ leading exhibitors and 10,000 business visitors from India and overseas will congregate for Prawaas 2019. This is one of the rare occasions that both public & private bus & car operators will come together to explore possibilities of deeper collaboration and evolving better public private partnership models.
Similar to the inaugural edition two years ago, Ashok Leyland will be the Principal Sponsor for the event. Tata Motors will be the conference host, while the Prawaas Excellence Awards is sponsored by redBus and Tata Motors. Other prominent sponsors & exhibitors include Veera Bus, BharatBenz, J-TAC, PayTM, Eberspaecher – Seutrak, Valeo Motherson, Bitla Software, Force Motors, VE Commercial, MRF, Yes Bank, Lamilux, Intangles Lab, Allison Transmission and JCBL, while many other technology start-ups are expected to participate in the exhibition. The deliberations at Prawaas 2019, addressed by thought leaders will focus on various important issues pertaining to future of mobility, zero emission & sustainable passenger transport, business profitability, stage carriage operations, public private partnership, electric mobility, tourism, financing, passenger mobility and employee mobility, school bus challenges, integrated mobility, vehicle regulation and insurance, toll & NIC.
