Altigreen EVs help cut 5,300 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions

Altigreen, India’s leading commercial electric vehicle maker, is proud to announce a significant milestone in its greenjourney. With approximately 5000 vehicles on the road, registered in over 173 RTO jurisdictions across India, Altigreen has covered a total distance of 50 million kilometers, saving an impressive 5300 metric tonnes of eCO2 emissions. This accomplishment underscores Altigreen’s unwavering commitment to a sustainable and cleaner future for India.

Dr. Amitabh Saran, Founder and CEO, Altigreen, said, “We are delighted to see the impact of our efforts towards green mobility. By mitigating 5,237 tonnes of CO2 emissions, we are not only contributing to a cleaner environment but also setting a benchmark for sustainable transportation in India.”

The eCO2 saved by Altigreen’s vehicles is equivalent to approximately 2.52 lakh tree-years. To put this into perspective, this is akin to the CO2 absorption capacity of 40 of Bangalore’s Cubbon Park, or 14 of New York’s Central Park. This remarkable achievement signifies Altigreen’s dedication to combating air pollution and creating healthier cities across India.

Altigreen’s CO2 savings are a testament to the transformative impact of electric vehicles on urban mobility. By choosing Altigreen, cities are not just investing in vehicles; they are investing in a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
