Asia MotorWorks (AMW), India’s third largest heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its presence in the important Gujarat market with the opening of its newest dealership, Sunrise Automotive Pvt. Ltd., at Mehsana, on April 23. Sunrise Automotive will be responsible for sales and service of the entire range of AMW vehicles in areas like Mehsana, Banaskantha, Palanpur and Himmatnagar in the State.
Mr. Rajnikant Patel, Gujarat Home Minister, inaugurated the dealership in the presence of Mr. Anirudh Bhuwalka, Managing Director and CEO, and Mr. R.C. Mangal, Chief Marketing Officer, AMW Motors Ltd., as well as a large number of company customers and other dignitaries. Mr. Ashok Chaudhary, Managing Director, Sunrise Automotive, and past Mayor of Mehsana, welcomed the guests.
Mehsana is among the largest milk producing regions in the country and a major user of milk tankers. Besides, it is an important oil exploration and extraction centre of ONGC. There are also a number of cement plants and mining and quarrying hubs there. AMW trucks cover over 90 per cent of haulage applications in the medium and heavy segment and the entire range of fully built vehicles for infrastructure and construction sectors.
