ASRTU’s recognition of Women in Public Bus Transport on International Women’s Day

The Association of State Road Transport Undertakings is delighted to invite you to a historic event celebrating the invaluable contributions of women in public bus transport. On International Women’s Day, March 8, 2025, ASRTU will host the First ever Recognition of Women in Public Bus Transport from over 25 states and the National Excellence Awards in Public Bus Transport.

This prestigious event will recognise the outstanding dedication and achievements of women bus drivers and conductors across India, alongside honoring exemplary innovations and excellence in the public bus transport sector. The event will be attended by senior government officials, policymakers, industry leaders and representatives from State Road Transport Undertakings (STUs). This initiative underscores ASRTU’s commitment to fostering gender inclusivity, innovation and excellence in India’s public bus transport ecosystem.

The event will feature distinguished speakers, who will share their insights on the future of
inclusivity in public transport. These esteemed dignitaries include:
