Bajaj Auto Ltd. has reached another milestone with the sale of its 10,000th goods carrier GC CNG Max in Delhi and the NCR region. To celebrate the occasion, a hundred vehicles were delivered at a grand function attended by almost 200 company customers and financiers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Puskhar Sinha, Regional Manager – North (CV), Bajaj Auto Ltd., said: “We are happy to have achieved this feat in Delhi NCR. We thank the thousands of satisfied customers who make a living by operating these goods carriers. GC CNG Max occupies a leadership market share in Delhi NCR. This model has an oil-cooled 200 cc engine which delivers 8.75 BHP power and is compliant with Bharat Stage 3 norms. It has a 7.5 kg CNG cylinder which is ideal for long trips and has a fuel average of around 36 km per kg of CNG. With its compact design, it is ideally suited for congested areas and trading hubs. The efficient engine also ensures a smooth climb on the numerous flyovers of Delhi”.
With the KMP (Kundli-Manesar-Palwal) freight corridor planned around Delhi, entry for bigger cargo vehicles is likely to be restricted at many places. The Bajaj GC Max CNG will then prove to be an even better option for last-mile goods transportation. It represents a real value for its proud owners. It is offered with attractive standard features and at less than Rs. 2 lakhs.
The company has sold over 2.10 lakh three-wheelers last year and has set a sales target of 2.50 lakhs for the coming year.
