The Better Air Quality Conference (BAQ) remains a leading international meet on “air quality” in Asia. BAQ 2014, a flagship event of Clean Air Asia, will be held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo from November 19 to 21.
The event will be organised by the Sri Lankan Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energy, Japanese Ministry of Environment, United Nations Centre for Regional Development, and Clean Asia, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and the German International Cooperation.
The flagship event will cover the key sectors of transport, energy, industry and climate change, with particular emphasis on Government policies and measures. Policy makers, practitioners and industry leaders will meet at BAQ to network, innovate, learn and share their experiences.
