Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), in association with Wasan Trucking, has just inaugurated a new 3S state-of-the-art BharatBenz dealership in Bhiwandi that will cater to BharatBenz trucks and buses. Bhiwandi is an important roadway that connects to Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan, Navi Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajaram Krishnamurthy, Vice President – Marketing and Sales, DICV, said: “The ongoing expansion of the BharatBenz sales & service network is one of the key elements of our growth strategy. Today’s opening of our 200th touchpoint marks an important milestone on the way to get even closer to our customers.”

The avant-garde 3S facility is spread over 32,000 sq. ft. and has 10 mechanical bays and, in addition, houses two exclusive body shops. The dealership will have trained manpower that understands the diverse needs of the customers and will provide onsite services. It comes equipped with high productivity tools, advanced guided diagnostics and mobile service vans.
The dealership will also provide a host of value-added services such as cashless zero-depreciation insurance, full maintenance contracts, extended warranty, 24×7 roadside assistance, vehicle tracking systems and driver training.

Speaking at the inauguration of the new facility, Mr. Ramesh Rajagopalan, Vice President – Customer Service, DICV, said: “Easy availability of BharatBenz genuine parts becomes even more vital as we rapidly grow our vehicle park. This is an extension of the ProServ promise to ensure high vehicle uptime. We will continue to strengthen our aftermarket support for customers and will expand this service to other regions.”
