Bhasin takes over as EEPC India chief

Mr. Tarvinder Singh Bhasin has taken over as Chairman of EEPC India with a clear mandate to work tirelessly with the Central Government, the States and policy makers in key markets like the US, Europe, Africa and South-East Asia to restore growth in engineering exports, which have been hit hard by the global slowdown.

Mr. Bhasin is the Managing Director of Bharat Parabolic Springs Pvt. Ltd. and Bharat Metal Crash, which produces automotive leaf springs & metal crash guards used in infrastructure industries and is responsible for marketing to the US, Europe, Africa, etc., as well as formulation and implementation of marketing strategies. Bharat Springs undertakes the manufacture of standard as well as specific requirements of original equipment manufacturers in India and abroad. As an active entrepreneur, Mr. Bhasin has travelled extensively around the globe, including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, etc., for participation in trade fairs and market studies for business promotion.

With his wide experience and fresh ideas, Mr. Bhasin is expected to open up a wider channel with new policy initiatives for engineering export promotion.
