BITZER India opened the Green Point Service Centre at No. 17 (i), 2nd Phase, 1st C Main Road, Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore, on July 25. This is the third Green Point opened by BITZER in India, the first one in Delhi in 2010 and the second in Mumbai in 2011. With this, BITZER has expanded its service footprint in India and can now offer faster service to its customers in the South.
The Green Points are used to offer repair services for BITZER compressors, genuine spareparts and oil imported directly from Germany and, more importantly, for imparting practical training knowledge to customers.
The opening ceremony was attended by many company customers and partners. Mr. Volkmar Pfeil who represented BITZER headquarters thanked the customers on behalf of Mr. Peter Schaufler and the Board of Directors for the support extended by them to BITZER India.
Mr. Maurizio Marchesini, Managing Director, Climaveneta of Italy, also took time off from his busy schedule to visit the Green Point on the opening day.
Mr. Rob De Bruyn, Managing Director, BITZER India, expressed his special thanks to the customers present at the function.
BITZER India will continue to expand the Green Point network across India and plans to open the next one in Kolkata in the first quarter of 2014.
