The Bluechem Group of Germany is one of the most successful and trusted global suppliers of fuel additives. The company also offers vehicle interior & exterior care products, lubricants and workshop equipment and is now entering a new space with the launch of AutoX3, an innovative AI-based workshop software that it believes will revolutionise the industry. Nikhil Junnarkar, Regional Manager (India, Middle East, East Africa, South Asia), Bluechem Group, shares details with MOTORINDIA in an exclusive interaction.
Excerpts:
Primary Aim of Participation
Bluechem is a regular participant in most of the Automechanika shows across the world; we have been at Automechanika Dubai for the last 6-8 years. This is the first large physical show after a couple of years so it gave us a good opportunity to participate. The idea to be here is to showcase our presence to our customers and obviously look at expanding our business in Middle East and Africa. We are looking forward to meeting workshop owners, distributors and key industry people here; the response on day 1 has been pretty good and we are looking forward to more good meetings and discussions.
New Innovation
We are launching an innovative workshop software called ‘AutoX3’. Bluechem does not only offer additives; we want to be part of every sector that a workshop comes through. We have additives, workshop equipment and lubricants and have now launched a truly global software in AutoX3. It is an intelligent customer-facing software that can help technicians talk to customers about the issues in their vehicle and convince them on what service / part changes need to be done. It is a completely intelligent AI-based software and one which we believe will take Bluechem to the next level. The operation is fully cloud-based and workshops can use it on a licensing model.
The AutoX3 is the brainchild of Professor Josef Kluy, Founder of the Auto X3 software and Head of International Business Development for the Bluechem Group, Germany. It took him and his team 3 years of hard work and investment to develop this revolutionary product.
Relevance for Developing Markets
The product is relevant for all markets around the globe since the requirements in workshops are more or less similar. Most of the OEMs have a DMS software but very few of them have a customer-facing software through which they talk to customers on service issues. The best part of AutoX3 is that it offers different modules specifically for segments such as tyre, body shop, etc.; so, the user need not necessarily pay for all the modules and can choose only what he needs, making it a truly modular solution.
Developments in India
In India, the biggest development for us is our exclusive tie-up with Koovers, India’s largest B2B online platform, that was done last week. We are looking forward to the partnership and are excited about the prospects.
