Conducts Health Check-up camp in Pune
Bridgestone India has strengthened its customer base in North and South India through the launch of its Select Stores in Bangalore, Karnataka and Mordabad, UP. At the same time, being socially active, Bridgestone has conducted an Health Check-up camp at Karanjvihirek village, Pune (KHED).
The Select showroom in Bangalore was formally inaugurated by Mr. Panampilly Rajeev, Zonal Head (South), Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Panampilly, expressed, “Bridgestone has always been at the forefront of delivering the best of products and services to its customers. We are delighted to launch our Select store at Bangalore with one such approach that will provide our valuable customers a full spectrum of tyre related services under one roof.”
The Select outlet ‘M/s Vikas Tyre Tech’ is located at Nagadevanahalli, in Bangalore. The select showroom at Moradabad, ‘M/s Viraat Enterprises’, is located at Chaudhary Charan Singh Chowk, Delhi Road, and was formally graced by Mr. Vaibhav Saraf, Sr. General Manager Sales & Marketing, PSR-Replacement, Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saraf, said, “We are pleased to launch the third Select store in Moradabad that is customer-friendly, smart and stylized store equipped with a wide product range and modern services to offer. Select is an unique retail channel which promises customers an unique buying experience and enable customers to view tyres as a critical purchase item which ensures their safety at all times”.
Health camp
Apart from being at the forefront in expansion, Bridgestone is also socially responsible towards society. Bridgestone had organized a health checkup camp with specialist medical team of Cardiologist, Gynecologist, Pediatrician, General Physician, Radiologist led by Dr. Vikas Jadav associated with D.Y. Patil Hospital, Pimpri. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Suresh Dhekle, Medical officer PHC, Karanjvihire and supported by Government Health worker and team of pathologist. The objective of the initiative was to build health awareness among the rural community and tribal, and to upgrade health status of these populations.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Ajay Sevekari, Director, Bridgestone India expressed, “We are pleased to be a part of this Health Awareness and improvement campaign. Villagers here, in Karanjvihire village do not have access to such medical consultations and we have tried our level best to address some issues and contributed to their health improvement with the help of the specialists in the related fields, Govt. Medical officer and the Bridgestone team”
