One-stop shop for truck, bus tyre services
Bridgestone India has, in continuation of its growth plans, launched the new Fleet Point (BFP) in the transportation hub of Vijaywada. The fleet point outlet was inaugurated by Mr. Kollu Ravindra, State Minister for Law and Justice Youth, and Mr. Akitomo Takahashi, General Manager, Bridgestone India. The center has been designed to provide expert services for truck and bus radial tyre operations and maintenance.
Mr. P. Subash, Deputy General Manager, and Mr. Sirish Kumar, Regional Sales Manager, Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd., would be responsible for the Vijayawada market where the fleet point would be operating.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Akitomo Takahashi said: “We are really thrilled to be in Vijaywada. Bridgestone’s offerings in the TBR segment have been making positive strides consistently and we are glad to offer our services to one of India’s most crucial transportation hubs. The fleet point has been developed to provide tyre care, reduce downtime and to help commercial vehicle operators to lower their overall operating cost. It is equipped to offer services like tyre alignment and rotation, inflation pressure maintenance, nitrogen filling, tyre repair, and technical advice and tyre management solutions for fleets.
Currently Bridgestone has over 30 commercial truck, bus tyre and service centers across India. The future plan is to cover all the major transport hubs falling on the National Highways.
