CEAT as an organization has had the Work from Home facility for its employees even during ‘normal’ times. To ensure physical and mental wellbeing as well as skill development of its employees during this critical time, CEAT has begun an initiative called COFIT-20 under which the following activities are being run.
- Counselling by the recently appointed Chief Fitness officer (CFO) – Dr Deepali Athawale
o Spouse/ Family connect: The CFO connects with the spouses and other family members of the employees on con-calls and brief them on the basic precautions to be taken to mitigate the virus threat along with a Q&A session for any queries/ questions
o A call away – Query Calls: The employees are provided with two, 2-hour slots every day where they can directly reach out to the CFO on call for any health related query
o Weekly Podcasts: Every week the CFO shares a Podcast with the employees which are directed towards wellbeing amidst this time. Till date we have released 2 – Stay Healthy while working from home & Strengthen our Immune System
- Appointment of a Fitness trainer – Ms Vani Pahwa
o Keeping the fitness aspect in mind during the lockdown, CEAT has also brought, Ms Vani Pahwa, a fitness trainer on board. She conducts exercise sessions of 30 mins for employees via YouTube at 8:30 am everyday
o This initiative has been extended to the entire management staff, workmen and associates. She is also open to take any questions and suggestions from the employees.
o Special guidance on exercise, expert advice on physical aches/pains/injuries are also provided by the fitness trainer
- Employee development
o CEAT is utilising its online learning platform as well as other web platforms to cater to the learning needs of employees
o A variety of learning content such as online courses, Ted Talks, e-books, case studies, articles are being handpicked for the perusal of the employees
o Learning capsules with duration ranging from 1-3 hours are being delivered through web platforms on functional topics or as refresher trainings
