Mr. Adi Godrej, President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has been conferred Padma Bhushan by the President.
Mr. Adi Godrej, Chairman of the Godrej Group, has been President of several Indian trade and industrial bodies and associations. Besides being Chairman of the Board of the Indian School of Business, he has been a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the MIT Sloan School of Management, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a member of the Wharton Asian Executive Board.
He is a recipient of several awards and recognitions, including the Rajiv Gandhi Award 2002, the American India Foundation (AIF) Leadership in Philanathropy Award, Chemexcil’s Life Time Achievement Award 2010, AIMA-JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award 2010, BMA-Management Man of the Year Award 2010-2011 and the Qimpro Platinum Standard Award for Business in 2011.
