COMTRANS 2013: Over 340 firms confirm participation so far

COMTRANS 2013, the International Commercial Vehicle Show, which takes place in Moscow during September 10 to 14, 2013, has already emerged a center of attraction for the international commercial vehicle industry and its suppliers. So far, more than 340 exhibitors from around the world have already confirmed their participation in the largest international fair for commercial vehicles this year. All major Russian and international truck, bus and trailer manufacturers will be present at the fair, as well as numerous system and component suppliers, including internationally known brands such as Knorr Bremse, ZF, Borg Warner and Contitech.

A premiere awaits visitors to Hall 15, where the Russian market leader KAMAZ and Mercedes Benz Trucks Vostok, as a visible sign of the co-operation the between the two companies have been undertaking, are exhibiting not only in the same hall for the first time but on the adjoining stands. As was the case in 2011, the German industry will also be represented again this year with a large joint stand under the motto “Made in Germany”, organized through the IMAG International Trade Fair Service.

COMTRANS takes place every other year on an alternating basis with the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show, and is considered the most important international commercial vehicle fairs in Europe after IAA. This year, the organizers, Media Globe, Moscow, and IMAG, Munich, as its international partner, are expecting not only a particularly strong interest in COMTRANS 2013 from the exhibitors but also from the visitors. Many new features as well as expanded exhibition space with additional halls for the presentations of the trailer and body industry promise a particularly high level of attractiveness. For the first time this year, COMTRANS will also host the prize-giving ceremonies for the prestigious Truck of the Year and Van of the Year awards.
