Cooper Standard names de Miguel as President, European operations

Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc., a leading global supplier of automotive sealing, fluid and anti-vibration systems, has announced the appointment of Fernando de Miguel as President of the company’s European operations. Based in Mannheim, Germany, he is responsible for continuing Cooper Standard’s footprint adjustment and targeted expansion in Europe.

Most recently serving as western European CEO of Avincis Emergency Services, de Miguel has more than 20 years of experience in leading international companies in the automotive, transportation and paper industries. He has special expertise in operational and strategic management, process optimization, productivity improvement and supply chain management.

Fluent in Spanish, French, Italian and English, de Miguel earned an electrical engineering degree and a Master’s Degree in industrial engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Barcelona, as well as an executive master’s degree in business administration from the IESE Business School – University of Navarra in Spain.
