EAST AUTO has announced opening of its first-ever training facility in Kolkata. It is for the first time that a state-of-the-art training facility has been set up in the eastern region by any equipment company in India.
The new facility in Kolkata will run body & paint repair training programs on modern body repair processes validated by the vehicle manufactures in India. It will provide a world-class facility with skilled instructors, most modern equipments and repair methods, all aimed at enhancing the skill level of technicians in a body & paint shop. It will continue employing the most modern teaching methods using hands-on applications on most modern tools, products and processes in body & paint shop focusing on areas such as safety, damage analysis & estimation, dismantling & assembly, measuring, pulling & structural repair, welding, cutting & dent pulling, pre-painting processes, paint refinishing processes, and awareness on latest global technology.
The specially-designed training module will help ensure better job quality, higher productivity and enhanced profitability in workshop operation.
Covering an area of 4,500 sq. ft., the training facility has adequate compressed air supply and power back-up. All the 10 bays are equipped with modern equipments like Crash repair system with electronic measuring, Advance Spot & MIG /MAG Welders, Dent pulling system, Painting equipments, paint booth, Hand tools & safety gadgets. The classroom with a seating capacity of upto 20 trainees is equipped with modern furniture, air-conditioning, projector, etc., and the certified trainer and technician ensure that the training provided is of world standard.
