ECMA off-road industry meet in September

Since inception in 2002, the Emission Controls Manufacturers Association (ECMA) has come a long way and has made significant contribution by creating awareness on environment. Now a member of the prestigious Standing Committee on Emissions (SCOE), it remains faithful to its pledge and partnership with the people, industry and the government to solve some of the most critical problems caused by vehicular pollution. It also maintains high professional standard with its commitment to a pollution-free world.

After having successfully hosted four internationally acclaimed conferences covering vehicular pollution control wherein globally renowned speakers have shared their technology with delegates and technocrats, ECMA is hosting its first conference specially dedicated to the off-road industry on “Pathways to meet Future Emission Standards for Off-Road Engines” in Delhi on September 3 and 4, 2012. This special two-day conference will provide a timely opportunity for India-based and industry stakeholders, analysts and policymakers to discuss the current issues facing the industry in this field.

World renowned speakers will be sharing their technological superiority, expertise, knowledge and experiences in the field of emission control technologies. Furthermore, through panel session and interactive presentations, delegates will consider the key challenges that lay ahead which will define and shape the success and sustainability of the industry in India over the next 10 years and beyond.

The conference will be attended by senior Government officials and technocrats in the field of off-road industry, mainly, tractors, gensets & non-road engines, etc., from India and the neighbouring countries.

The conference will have six technical sessions and one panel discussion. As always with all previous ECMA conferences, this one will also have global representation, to be addressed by world-renowned speakers from Government, R&D institutes / test agencies, and associations like SIAM, ACMA, IDEMA, TMA, etc.
