In an endeavour to enhance its aftermarket capabilities and provide best-in-class service offerings to its customers, Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles, extends Eicher Promise across its entire range of trucks and buses. Eicher On-road Service (EOS) is now available pan-India on 24×7 basis (except on mandatory national holidays) as a one-stop solution for best-in-class en route breakdown support leading to enhanced uptime.
Taking forward Eicher’s Pro philosophy, the Eicher Promise scheme guarantees on-road repair in an event of a vehicle breakdown, ensuring that the vehicle is reverted to drivable condition within 24 hours of the issue being reported. For every block of a 24-hour delay, the customer will be entitled to Eicher Promise coupons based on the vehicle series / model across the range of LMD trucks, buses and heavy duty trucks. These coupons can be redeemed by customers during subsequent visits at Eicher authorized workshops.
Eicher has embarked on a mission to usher the future of Indian trucking by striving to take the benchmarks of vehicle Uptime and Aftermarket support to a new level across their product range. Eicher Promise is among several other initiatives taken to improve the operating economics for the customers. With a total of 283 authorized service centers, 140 EGPs, 2,500+ retail centres for parts and a wide network across cities and national highways, Eicher ensures a convenient touch point, anywhere and anytime. Service levels for en route support further gets augmented through 225+ GPS-enabled and networked “Eicher Service vans” which provide round-the-clock assistance to customers’ vehicles for en route service requirements.
