Elofic Industries Limited, the popular automotive filter manufacturer, has recently entered the domestic 2-wheeler filter market. Its products include a wide range of Filter Elements, Plastic Moulded Air Filters and Foam Filters for all 2-wheeler applications of Hero, Suzuki, TVS, Royal Enfield and HMSI vehicles. It will soon cover all other domestic OEMs as well. It may be noted that Elofic already exports 2-wheeler filters successfully to the American & European markets for Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Harley Davidson applications and is very bullish on its new domestic venture.
Established in 1951, the Company has three filter manufacturing units and 15 Marketing Offices, with 1000 Distributors and 30000 Retailers through out the country. It plans a network of 100 distributors for the 2-wheeler segment.
Elofic has been a pioneer in the quality movement since 1995 with ISO:9002, ISO:9001, QS:9000, TS 16949:2002, and presently TS16949:2009 Quality Certification. It won the Rajiv Gandhi Award for Quality in 1998 and the ACMA Quality Award in 1999. The Chairman, Sh. M.S. Sahni, received the All India Best Entrepreneur award in the Medium Industry category by The Prime Minister of India, Hon’ble Sh. Manmohan Singh for the year 2007. The Company has recently been certified for OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO14001:2004.
