for VRL Logistics
Apollo Fleet of the Year Awards
gives importance to initiatives taken
by fleet operators towards safety,
technology, sustainability and cus-
tomer service.
VRL Logistics based out of Hubli
in Karnataka, with a fleet of 3000+
vehicles, has a record 98 per cent
customer complaint resolution. It
has conducted around 550 safety
trainings resulting in lower acci-
dents per truck. These proved to be
the critical deciding factors for the
judges in selecting VRL as India’s
awards
Fleet of the Year. What also went in
VRL’s favour was the level of radi-
alisation, a high 60 per cent, in com-
parison to 20 per cent in commercial
vehicles in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.
Satish Sharma commented: “These

At the first edition of the Apollo Fleet of the Year awards presentation ceremony
held recently, Mr. Satish Sharma, Chief, India Operations, Apollo Tyres Ltd., gave
away the trophy for Apollo Fleet of the Year to VRL Logistics in the large operator
category and for Sangha Freight Carrier in the medium operator category. Apollo
Tyres received over 5,140 entries from fleet operators from all over India.
