PACCAR showcased its premium
DAF CF65 truck at Auto Expo 2012.
The DAF CF65 on display was
equipped with a PACCAR PX-6 180
hp engine and an Asia MotorWorks
(AMW) tipper body. The versatile
CF is designed for tractor and vo-
cational configurations. DAF is the
leading on-highway tractor manu-
facturer in Europe. DAF trucks are
sold and serviced by a network of
over 1,000 independent dealer loca-
tions worldwide. “DAF vehicles are
successful due to their excellent reli-
ability, efficiency and high standard
of driver comfort,” commented Mr.
Donald. J. Schulte, Managing Direc-
tor, PACCAR in India.
PACCAR is a global technology
leader in the design, manufacture
and customer support of high-qual-
ity light, medium and heavy duty
trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt
and DAF nameplates. PACCAR also
designs and manufactures advanced
diesel engines, provides financial
services and information technology
and distributes truck parts related to
its principal business.
The company also launched its
new PACCAR Technical Center in
Pune, with its partner KPIT, a lead-
ing technology solutions company.
The center will eventually have ap-
proximately 200 employees and will
focus on engineering, information
technology and component sourcing
for worldwide production and after-
