World class axle and suspension
from York
auto expo 2012
York India, known for its
customized solutions and in-
novative designs, launched
at Auto Expo its Premium
Axle in the 13-ton category
and maintenance-free sus-
pension. In addition to its
wide variety of offerings al-
ready available in the Indian
market, the new products
are designed specifically
for Indian conditions, offer-
ing economy of usage, with
endurance and trouble-free
performance. The new prod-
ucts come salient features
like outboard brake drum
for easy maintenance and
coarse thread wheel bolts
for better life.

Equipment (Asia) Pte. Ltd., spoke
in detail on the company’s growth
and plans to strengthen its position
in the Indian market. York became
a Tata enterprise in October 2007,
and since then the company has seen
tremendous growth. York India has
seen 40 per cent growth in the top-
line from 2010-11 to 2011-12 with
the turnover figure rising from close
to $60 million in 2010-11 to nearly
$80 million in 2011-12. Some of its
key markets are in the Asia-Pacific
region, including Australia, where
the company has grown over 25 per
