The Hella product roadmap for the
upcoming years includes solutions
to satisfy the major trends for safety,
economy and comfort. The portfolio
includes various sensors, actuators
and control units.
The sensor range includes moni-
toring engine oil parameters, de-
tecting vehicles in the blind spot,
controlling the windshield wipers,
monitoring the battery condition and
measuring positions (including ve-
hicle level, steering angle and accel-
erator pedal). The actuator portfolio
covers applications in the engine
compartment. The major control
units in the Hella portfolio are body
controllers, DC/DC converters, fuel
pump controllers and memory seat
controllers.
Hella India Electronics is headed

The company has come up with a
new solution to avoid frequent
bulb change and maintenance of
rear combination lamps fitted in
most Indian trucks. It will always
glow and assist the drivers fol-
lowing these trucks and will avoid
any possible collision. The added
advantage is that the cost of own-
ership over lifetime is lower than
that of bulb-based lamps since it
ensures up to 80 per cent lower
power consumption and is mainte-
nance-free.
