the company who explained in detail
the extensive manufacturing proc-
ess, R&D activities, quality control
aspects and, most importantly, new
product developments with exten-
sive testing and validation, as also
the infrastructure which the compa-
ny has developed over the decades.
After the plant tour, the clients
were extremely upbeat and appreci-
ated the vast infrastructure and tech-
nological advances that Texspin has
made over the years.
Further, talking to the customers
present, many prominent industry
leaders gave their own testimonies
about Texspin and how they have
been a key supporter in all aspects,
including challenging product de-
velopments, critical juncture devel-
opment and delivery support. All the
customers spoke highly of Texspin
and its management style.
The company has shown double-
digit growth for the past four con-
secutive years. It has enhanced ca-
pacities in the existing plant and has
acquired new land of over 10 acres
in Ahmedabad for further expan-
sion. Product expansion includes ta-
per roller bearings, cylindrical roller
bearings, intermediate cones, etc.
The company has evolved right
from its establishment in 1961 by
C.M. Makwana at a 500 sq. ft. hut-
like shed with only four machines in
a small town called Ranpur in Gu-
jarat. The basic needs like electric-
ity, skilled labor and raw materials
were not easily available. However,
Texspin’s success story is only be-
cause of the hard work and dedica-
tion of its management and employ-
ees enabling the company to serve
the global market.
Texspin develops and manufac-
tures precision products like trans-
mission components, steering com-
ponents, suspension components
and engine components. It offers
customized solutions that meet the
specific requirements of automotive
manufacturers. Its clutch release
bearing, concentric slave cylinder
for clutch system, kingpin bearings
and other products continue to pro-
vide unmatched solution to the cus-
tomer.
Today Texspin is a major player
in the Indian bearing industry, sup-
plying its products to overseas auto-
motive markets as well.

“I would like to reiterate our 100 per cent commitment and de-
termination to fulfill our customers’ expectations. The largest
challenge is to take Texspin forward for the next 50 years. This
is a huge challenge on our shoulders which we are fully deter-
mined to accomplish.”
