Ltd., said, “the

will be lighter, more versatile, more
long-lasting and better than the ex-
isting ones”.
Mr. Rajeev Mittal, President, QH
Talbros, observed that the alliance is
on royalty basis and shall work on
case-to-case, depending upon the
customers.
QH Talbros already manufactures
steering and suspension components
with an annual installed capacity of
18 million+ assemblies with a port-
folio of more than 1,200 products
catering to all major automobile
segments. It also has equity part-
nerships with the Affinia Group of
the US for steering and suspension
components and plans to beef up its
portfolio to the next level with the
latest technical agreement.
An investment of Rs. 20 crores
through debts and equity funding
has been made to expand the ca-
pacity at the Pune plant and to set
up the sixth facility in Chennai for
manufacturing steering and suspen-
sion components for Daimler’s new
product, Bharat Benz. The plant is
expected to commence production
by April 2012.
On its journey to becoming the
best in class, to walk hand in hand
with a global technology leader who
shares the common commitment to
product, quality and performance,
talks are on with global players in
Japan, Korea and Taiwan in the field
of gaskets, ball joints and peripher-
als. Two more JVs are likely to be
inked by March 2012.
Despite the sluggish market, the
Talbros Group is targeting a growth
rate of over 15 per cent in the cur-
rent fiscal, of which QH Talbros
will achieve in excess of Rs. 350
crore. In 2010-11, QH Talbros had
achieved a sale of Rs. 303 crore.
