Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV) has just com-
menced commercial production and rolled out its first 25-tonne
BharatBenz truck off the assembly line at its Oragadam plant in
Chennai. Since the launch of the BharatBenz brand for the Indian
market in early 2011, the subsequent BharatBenz product pre-
miere early this year and the inauguration of the state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility at Oragadam in April last, production of
BharatBenz trucks is on schedule.
