BMC, a leading Turkish com-
mercial vehicle manufacturer, had
its distinct presence at Busworld
Istanbul. It exhibited seven buses
and coaches, including the Procity
model developed for the Istanbul
Electricity, Tramway and Tunnel
General Management (IETT) meet-
ing its specific requirements. Last
year BMC won a prestigious con-
tract to supply 279 Procity buses to
Istanbul. The project comes with a
unique five-year after-sales support
package, utilising BMC’s expertise
in the area.
BMC, with its customer focused

mestic and international markets.
To-date it has manufactured more
than 300,000 units and is proud to
celebrate its 47th anniversary this
year. With a clear vision to establish

production capacity of 1,800 units
enables it to offer extensive bus
and coach range from 7.5 metres
to 18 metres. The range on offer
incorporates diesel, CNG engines
and electric/diesel hybrid power
technologies. The company phi-

whole new benchmark in the mar-
ket place in terms of quality, safety
and comfort with value-for-money
proposition for passengers and op-
erators.
Having an extensive commercial
vehicles distribution network in
Turkey, BMC serves its customer
base with 47 selling dealers, 134
authorized service points and 172
parts dealers. This strong after-
sales support approach is repli-
cated in the 80 export markets by
utilising the services of its 37 fully
conversant and self-sufficient dis-
tributors.
