Escorts Ltd, India’s leading tractor manufacturer, has launched the revolutionary first ever Anti Lift Tractors (ALT) in Bangladesh. Built around the twin themes of driver safety and owner savings, the new category of anti-lift tractors, made especially for commercial haulage operators, are available in two models, ALT 4000 and ALT 3500.
Tractors in general are usually vulnerable because of its front lift nature, resulting in reduced or no steering of front wheels. This endangers the safety of the driver and results in considerable damage which increases the maintenance cost for the owner. For the driver, the chances of a mishap are significantly reduced and for the owner it means lesser downtime, which results in significant savings through the life cycle of the tractor.
Escorts R&D has perfected an innovative technology through series of path breaking measures such as shifting the center of gravity and hitch point forward, unique hub-reduction transmission, increased wheel base, heavy front axle, stiffener bars and plates, custom-designed 85kg front bumpers and high-intensity extra front lamps. These features considerably improve the front lift resistance capability of the tractor.
This is further complimented with a series of additional attributes that provide ultimate savings for the tractor owner such as certified fuel-efficient engine, haulage-special low-wear rear tyres, 4-coat high-life yellow paint, long life oil brakes and 20 per cent bigger fuel tank.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Vice President International Business, Escorts Agri Machinery said, “We recently introduced our ALT tractors in India with a resounding success. Today we seek to offer the same tried, tested and proven technological master piece, the new ALT series of tractors, to the Bangladesh market. These anti lift tractors have been specifically designed for operators in Indian sub-continent for their specific needs. It is the first time that a tractor company has sought to lessen the risky driving conditions experienced by the haulage operators, particularly in mining, brick kilns and transportation. Previously a tractor driving up a gradient tended to dance with a fully loaded trailer hitched to it, thereby putting the life of driver and his helper in precarious condition. That also led to a lot of down time for the tractor owner. With the additions from our R&D Department, the ALT 3500 and ALT 4000 tractors have brought an end to these miseries.”
“We are proud of being the first company in this part of the world that today is catering to operator safety in its own unique way without compromising on machine profitability. Anti-Lift Tractor brings freedom from drudgery and life threatening situations for the driver while offering never before value for money to the tractor owner” he further added. The new ALT tractors come in 37HP and 41 HP and are attractively priced for Bangladesh market.
