Ford Trucks International and F-Trucks Germany showcase vehicles and solutions

At the IAA Transportation from September 17-22, 2024 in Hanover, Ford Trucks International and F-Trucks Germany will be showcasing vehicles and solutions that combine efficiency and technological progress.

Wherever the future of freight transport arrives, Ford Trucks is always right in the middle of it: Hall 21, Stand D02. Compared to the last IAA, the floor space of the two-story stand has almost doubled, reflecting the growing importance of Ford Trucks in freight transport. As a highlight that will attract the public, the former national team captain and brand ambassador for Ford Trucks, İlkay Gündoğan, is expected at the exhibition stand and will also take a seat in the driver’s seat himself.

F-MAX, F-LINE and F-LINE BEV: Trucks for today and tomorrow

Ford Trucks is showing a cross-section of its current vehicle portfolio at the exhibition stand and giving an outlook on the immediate future of freight transport: a battery-electric vehicle from the recently presented F-LINE series with a box body and 6×2 axle configuration in Digital Aqua Blue will be on display at the stand. The tried and tested F-MAX series is represented by an F-MAX Gen2, an F-MAX Living from Ford Trucks partner Dietrich and a tractor unit with the rare and elegant F-MAX Select equipment. Number 57 of the F-MAX Select series, limited to 400 units, will be presented at the IAA in two-tone paintwork and with many design extras. An F-LINE 1845 T tractor unit in satin matt Metal Blue rounds off the semi-trailer product range. Really robust and proof that even the “small” F-LINE can really get to work is an F-Line 4145 D with 8×4 axle configuration and tipper body from Meiller in Squirrel Grey.

A drive of the future: the EcotorqH2 hydrogen engine

The robust, self-developed Ecotorq engines in 9.0 and 12.7 liter versions are the standard drive for Ford Trucks products. Ford Trucks has now developed and successfully tested the EcotorqH2, a hydrogen inline six-cylinder engine. This unit is to be used in Ford Trucks’ tractors in the near future.

The complete package of service, reliability and financing: Ford Trucks Care

Efficiency and reliability are the result of the right framework conditions and the perfect interplay of various services: Ford Trucks is presenting its extensive range of services consisting of the five modules Software, Up-time, E-Mobility, Finance and Customization.
