Interpump Hydraulics has announced the appointment of Mr. Girish Garud as the Managing Director of its Indian operations with effect from March 1. He will be responsible for the development of broad-based, sustainable and proactive strategy to support IPH’s growth objectives in India.
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Garud has over 25 years of executive leadership experience in engineering and automotive industry. Earlier, he held senior positions at Kirloskars, Siemens and Tata companies.
“It is both an honour and challenge to lead IPH India operations” says Mr. Garud. “With the varied product profile and advanced technology at hand, we would be looking for exponential growth and a strong presence of IPH in India and South-East Asian markets. Our new development and introduction of sandwich PTOs will cater to the ever-growing markets of transit mixtures, fire fighting trucks and utility vehicles.”
