Giti Tire products sold in over 110 countries Keen to expand presence in Indian market

Speaking at the 3rd India Commercial Vehicle Summit in Pune,  Mr. Vidit Jain, Technical Director – India, GITI Tire, observed, overall the company produces 20 million passenger car tyres and six million commercial vehicle tyres in a year.

Giti’s five R&D centers are located in China, Indonesia, the UK, the US and Germany. With a team of over 600 experienced engineers, the company keeps on improving R&D capabilities to meet the growing consumer demand.

Following production and thorough testing process, Giti uses its extensive network of corporate offices and distribution centers to strategically deliver its products throughout the world. It partners with local dealers, distributors and retail organizations to uphold the Giti brand standard as well as best service the needs of the marketplace.

Giti Tire closely works with reputed OEM manufacturers, including General Motors, Tata Motors, Volkswagen, Fiat, Renault and others. It earned GM Quality Excellence Awards in 2012 and 2013, in addition to many other Awards in recent years from different OEM companies.

In India, the company currently sells 37 different sizes of tyres which are duly certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). To start with, the company’s focus is on the replacement market with the formal launch in Chandigarh. In order to provide good sales and service support, the company is also recruiting more manpower. Basically, the success of the company lies in three Ps – Product, Placement and Performance.
