After highly-engaging sessions with fleet operators, drivers and mechanics at multiple locations across Delhi and the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Go Extra campaign created a stunning impact in Tamil Nadu, making stops at all key trucking hubs in the state including Chennai, Vellore, Salem, Namakkal, Tiruchengode, Sankagiri and Dharmapuri, where similar engagement sessions were conducted at strategic locations in the respective towns.
At all locations, the main transport association of the town was fully supportive of the initiative, with the respective Presidents and Secretaries gracing the on-ground events in person. All of them unanimously acknowledged the unique effort to reach the doorsteps of fleet operators, drivers and mechanics who are seldom given the attention and respect they deserve for the kind of contribution they have towards the economy and the nation’s progress.
With the end of the events in Tamil Nadu, the Go Extra campaign has reached its half way mark spanning a month, covering 19 cities along the way. The second half of the campaign would see the truck covering the states of Karnataka, Gujarat and Rajasthan before returning to Delhi. On the whole, the campaign will run for 60+ days, with the truck covering 6,500+ km from start to finish, covering a total of 32 cities across the length and breadth of the country.
