By now there can be no doubt at all about it: With its groundbreaking “MPA axle technology”, Goldhofer has definitely set a new benchmark in the heavy transportation industry. This is clear from the response from customers around the globe as well as the impressive influx of orders.
“Overwhelming customer response shows that, with this extremely low-maintenance axle system, we have developed the innovation the market has been waiting for,” says Stefan Fuchs, CEO at Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft. “Everybody now recognizes the superiority of our ‘MPA axle technology’, which comprises just one wheel carrier, one strut and one suspension arm. Thanks to this simplicity and reduction to the essentials, it has a number of clear advantages over other axles and offers significant added value.”
Highly manoeuvrable, functional and reliable – this sums up Goldhofer’s MPA axle technology, as more than 500 business partners from 36 countries saw for themselves at the Goldhofer Innovation Days held at the end of June. The test drives available on the two days of the event attracted a constant stream of much impressed drivers.
In the course of the summer, Goldhofer has integrated the MPA axle technology in its product portfolio for all semi-trailer variants (semis and dropdecks). “With the new modular system, it is relatively easy for customers to configure the semi-trailer combination with up to ten axles that offers the most economical solution for their requirements,” says Renato Ramella, Sales Manager – Europe at Goldhofer.
The new modular system for MPA semi-trailer combinations includes goosenecks, front bogies with up to three axles, and the appropriate semis and dropdecks.
