At the IAA Transportation, to be held in Hanover from September 20 to 27, Goldhofer will be present in Hall 25 (Stand C07) and will showcase its five-axle »STEPSTAR« Z, a vehicle that combines power and versatility. The »STARLINE« series exemplifies premium quality at attractive prices, offering long service life and economical performance. The semi lowloaders in the »STEPSTAR« range boast high payloads with low deadweights, coupled with an intelligent load securing system. These features enable transport companies to handle a wide variety of heavy and large load transport operations across Europe.
In addition to its payload-to-deadweight ratio, the trailer includes Wader container locks for transporting 10-foot construction containers. Goldhofer’s »TRAILSTAR« will also be on display, featuring the new »CargoPlus« tires that support axle loads of ten or twelve tons for a usable loading height of 780 mm (-60/+140 mm).
Visitors to Goldhofer’s outdoor stand (K53) directly in front of Hall 25 will have the opportunity to inspect a complete tractor-trailer rig. This includes a MAN heavy-duty tractor unit paired with a self-tracking trailer combination featuring a 5-axle SN-L trailing dolly, designed for transporting long loads. The flexibility of this combination makes it an effective solution for both the wind power and construction industries. Goldhofer’s extensive experience has ensured ease of operation, stability, and flexibility for high-performance tasks in the wind energy sector. The trailer’s simple, user-optimized operation and steering adjustments at the push of a button contribute to maximum efficiency and resource savings.
Moreover, IAA will spotlight synergies from Goldhofer’s Transport Technology and Airport Technology divisions. At stand N64 in the outdoor area, Goldhofer’s strategic partner, Terberg Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH, will present the »SHERPA« E zero-emission cargo tractor, ideal for industrial applications. This collaboration underscores Goldhofer’s commitment to future-focused, green logistics solutions.
Dennis Leschensky, Goldhofer’s Director of Sales Europe / North Africa, is confident about IAA Transportation 2024: “Following the highly positive outcome of the last IAA, we are firmly convinced that we will have another successful trade show this year.
