Palembang, in Indonesia, has been chosen to host the third Global Rubber Conference (GRC 2013), one of the world’s leading meets on natural rubber, from October 1 to 3. Held at the heartland of the world’s second largest natural rubber producing country, this high calibre conference is hosted by the Indonesia Rubber Council and the Riset Perkebunan Nusantara and co-organised by the Indonesia Rubber Research Institute (IRRI) and Confexhub. It is a major platform for various industry players in the rubber industry to gather to gain further insight on the major challenges and opportunities within the industry.
The conference is supported by the International Rubber Research Development Board (IRRDB) and over 20 government agencies and associations globally. Initiated by the founder of the series of rubber conferences in ASEAN and organized by the organizing team of ASEAN Rubber Conference, the global rubber conference is committed to provide a must-attend event for the rubber industry players to meet annually.
Global Rubber Conference 2013 themed “Tapping Opportunities and Germinating Growth” is expected to bring together over 500 experts and delegates, including government officials, rubber producers & planters, traders, importers & exporters, manufacturers of rubber products, commodity and investment analysts, rubber machinery & equipment suppliers and their supporting industries representing over 25 countries.
