The Delhi NCR-based Hilux Autoelectric came up with innovative auto lamps and plastic components for buses two years ago, and is now a preferred supplier to many leading bus makers and body builders in the country.
The company’s wide range of products include LED or non-LED roof lamps, position lamps, rear signaling lamps, direction indicators, number plate and market lamps, reflex reflectors, and coach fans, among others.
Asked about his company’s participation in Busworld India 2018, the Managing Director, Mr. Surinder S. Khanuja, says: “We supply bus lighting solutions to OEMs like SML Isuzu, Ashok Leyland, JBM Buses, and so on, along with a host of bus body builders in the Northern region. We are now targeting the Southern region as well, and this expo is the right platform to reach out to new buyers”.
Hilux production units are located in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Delhi, and Manesar near Gurgaon, Haryana. At the expo, the company displayed all-new EMC-approved coach fans designed for value-segment buses, whose specifications are approved by Tata Marcopolo. “All our lights are ARAI approved and suit the quality and cost requirements of the bus makers”, says Mr. Khanuja.
Hilux is supplying products to leading OEMs in tractors, construction equipment, and commercial vehicle segments since 2002, he added.
The company was very much impressed with the customer enquiries and footfall at the Busworld this time, including those from bus builders, fleets, retailers and distributers across the country.
