Synergistic tie-up with DeIl’Orto, a morale-booster
The Huber Group is a Tier 1-supplier of EGR valves and cooler modules as well as ECUs to automobile and engine manufacturers in the European, Asian and South American regions. The group is active on an international scale and has its headquarters in Mühlhausen, Germany. The service portfolio contains systems (complete systems and components), engineering (hardware, software, mechanical design, prototyping and application), testing (components, engines and complete vehicles), and production (electronic and mechanical manufacturing).
In India, the Huber Group has set up its wholly-owned subsidiary, Huber Automotive India Pvt. Ltd., which will start production of pneumatically EGR valves and cooler modules as well as ECUs at the Dell’Orto production at the Chakan facility in Pune. Both the companies have already long-term experience in the field of emission reduction products.
With the know-how of Dell’Orto and Huber in automotive engineering customer support can be given in application, design, simulation, prototyping, validation, serial production and after-sales service.
Dell’Orto is an 80-year-old Italian company with worldwide business. Its core products include all kinds of mechanical and electric throttle bodies and a wide range of electric EGR valves and modules for light duty vehicles and off highway application for several customers in Europe. It is producing in India at its own plant from 2007 and from May 2012 in the brand new plant in Pune where the main production is already fully localized.
Huber stands for complete aftertreatment emission reduction and regeneration systems as well as for intake manifold modules. Of significance is the development and production of electronic control units for various automotive applications, perfectly complementary with the well-known ECU product of DeIl’Orto for the two-wheeler market. In addition, Huber also offers ‘Fleet Testing’ to its worldwide customers.
The joint venture in India of DeIl’Orto and Huber is a further step of co-operation to use their common knowhow to support their customers with regard to the actual and future emission regulation.
