Hyliko unveils H2 powered heavy-duty retrofitted tractor

A new stage in the energy transition
The retrofitted vehicle presented by Hyliko at IAA Transportation is a 44-ton heavy-duty tractor, modified to run on a hydrogen fuel cell. This retrofit extends the life of combustion-powered trucks, while drastically reducing emissions of CO2 and other pollutants. With a range of up to 400 km, this truck is designed for long-distance operations, while complying with current environmental requirements.

TestDrive: hydrogen in real-life conditions
Visitors to the IAA Transportation show will have the opportunity to see this retrofitted tractor in TestDrive, and to test its performance in real-life conditions. This test will demonstrate the reliability, power and energy efficiency of hydrogen vehicles, offering transport operators a credible alternative to combustion engines. For the TestDrive, go to Hall 11, TD11, parking space 15.

Hyliko: a strong commitment to zero-emission transport
Since its creation, Hyliko‘s mission has been to accelerate the energy transition of the heavy transport sector in France and Europe. With its unique offering, Hyliko provides companies with a turnkey solution for decarbonizing their fleets, by integrating new and retrofitted vehicles, while relying on a network of green hydrogen stations. By tackling the issue of emissions from heavy goods vehicles, Hyliko is positioning itself as a leader in sustainable mobility, providing a concrete response to environmental challenges while optimizing operating costs for hauliers.

The future of heavy haulage is already here
Hyliko’s participation in IAA Transportation 2024 marks a new stage in the adoption of hydrogen technologies for road transport. With its retrofitted tractor, the company shows that the energy transition is not only possible, but also accessible today. Come and try out the future of heavy-duty transport at the Hyliko stand, Hall 24, stand C12, and at TestDrive in Hall 11, TD11, parking 15 at IAA Transportation 2024!
