IndianOil reports net profit of Rs. 1,684 crores in Q2

IndianOil has reported a net profit of Rs. 1,684 crores on income from operations of Rs. 1,10,390 crores for the quarter ended September IOC-Butola-pic30, 2013. During the corresponding period in the previous year, the Corporation reported a net profit of Rs. 9,611 crores on income from operations of Rs. 1,06,001 crores.

Net under-realization was Rs. 413 crores in the quarter as compared to over-recovery of Rs. 3,850 crores during July-September 2012.

Mr. R.S. Butola, Chairman, said: “IndianOil’s product sales volumes, including exports was 17.627 million tonnes during the second quarter of FY 2013-14. Our quarterly refining throughput went up by 0.226 million tonnes to 13.344 million tonnes as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The throughput of the Corporation’s countrywide pipelines network was 18.064 million tonnes during the current quarter.”
