The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is organising the next edition of the Auto Ancillary Show in Pune during October 25-28 next. The Auto Cluster Development & Research Institute, Pune, is the co-organiser.
The automobile industry in India is witnessing rapid growth, with its turnover expected to double to $145 billion by 2016. India continues to play a major role internationally too. However, such rapid growth does present challenges like the need to rapidly increase production capacity, upgrade technology on a regular basis and induct the latest technologies, with the growing commitment to go greener.
The show, along with the accompanying activities, is a cost-effective opportunity for component manufacturers and technology suppliers to showcase new products/technologies, interact with and understand the new requirements of clients, network with, and strengthen relationships with automobile manufacturers/vendors, meet new clients and buyers, enter into technology tie-ups, joint ventures, etc., for mutual benefit, and to interact with government departments/financial institutions and other experts in their quest for expansion, technological upgradation, and setting up of new ventures.
The main visitors to the show are representatives of manufacturers of cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles & scooters, tractors, etc.; vendor development and purchase professionals in the industry; R&D personnel/consultants; Government agencies/policy makers; and exporters, importers, distributors, etc.
