JCB India Ltd. has opened world-class dealer facilities in Mohali and Jabalpur in co-operation with its dealer partners Krishna Automobiles and Frontier Commercial Vehicles respectively. The Mohali facility, spread over 24,560 sq. ft., is the largest one for construction equipment by Krishna Automobiles and will also be its new head office. The two new state-of-the-art facilities have been set up with the aim of providing an unmatched experience to JCB customers for all their equipment-related requirements, including sales, service and JCB genuine parts. The infrastructure of the dealerships has been made as per the JCB corporate identity guidelines and is equipped with JCB’s standardised systems and processes.
“Krishna Automobiles and Frontier Commercial Vehicles have been important partners for JCB India for over a decade now. It is a moment of great pride to inaugurate their new facilities in Mohali and Jabalpur respectively. These world-class set-ups exemplify their commitment towards customers and all stakeholders,” said Mr. Vipin Sondhi, MD & CEO, JCB India Ltd.
“As JCB transforms itself into a full range infrastructure equipment partner with its world-class product solutions, the new facilities will help us take the focus on larger excavators, wheeled loaders and compactors further. They will also help offer our customers a unique and unparalleled experience,” Mr. Sondhi added.
Apart from the Premier Line range of machines which include tracked excavators, wheeled loaders and compactors, this 4-bay integrated workshop, built in 16,000 sq. ft. area, will provide services for backhoe loaders, the material handling range – telehandlers, skid steer loaders and super loaders. It also has a state-of-the-art fully operational command centre for “Livelink”, a noteworthy advanced telematics technology introduced by JCB that enables customers in efficient fleet management.
Customers with Livelink-enabled machines get SMS alerts on their mobile phones or smart devices regarding service, fuel alerts, operations and security of their machines by using the Geo Fencing and Time fencing features. All this information is available to the customer on real time basis. It gives inputs to the user on SOS, i.e., Service, Operations and Security of their equipment.
