JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has announced the appointment of Mr. Vivek Kamra as its President – India.
The appointment comes in the wake of Mr. Arun K. Bajoria’s elevation to the post of Director and President – International Operations. With an experience of over 20 years with the company, Mr. Bajoria will be leading JK Tyre’s international operations, including ‘JK Tornel, Mexico’ and special strategic assignments.
Welcoming Mr. Vivek Kamra, Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, JK Tyre, said: “I am sure that Mr. Kamra will provide adept leadership and lead JK Tyre on a new growth trajectory.”
Mr. Kamra joins JK Tyre with an extensive experience in spearheading businesses for almost a decade. Prior to joining JK Tyre, he was based in Singapore as President & CEO, NatSteel Holding Pte Ltd. He is a veteran in leading and mentoring diverse teams across geographies, with a rich experience of over 25 years. He has attended the Business Management programme at INSEAD – the Business School for the World.
Mr. Kamra holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Mumbai and did Business Management at XLRI, Jamshedpur.
