JK Tyre conceptualized the National Fleet Conference as a platform for players from the logistics industry to come together, ideate, network and take time off from their busy schedules. The 9th JK Tyre National Fleet Conference was a four-day event held from 26th to 29th August 2017, at Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The event witnessed an action-packed gathering of 80 renowned fleet owners from across India and JK Tyre’s top management that included Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Anshuman Singhania, Whole-Time Director, Mr. Vikram Malhotra, Marketing Director, Mr. VK Misra, Technical Directorand other JK Tyre employees.
The objective of the platform – JK Tyre National Fleet Conference– was to strengthen its relationship with allthe present fleets, and get first hand feedback on the products and services offered by JK Tyre. The participants were amongst top trendsetters in the transport industry who brought with them years of experience and market knowledge, to the forum. During this four-day event, the fleet owners presented new business ideas and how they could contribute to each other’s growth with an integrated approach to maximize customer satisfaction. JK Tyre’s annual event every year facilitates exchange of various ideas between the participants through interactive sessions and discussions, including latest trends in the industry, product innovation and ways of enhancing service experience for existing and potential customers.

To make this event a refreshing experience for the participants, an exploration trip was organized to sit back, relax and indulge in various activities. The best highlight is the destination which was specifically selected to make this event a memorable one. The city of Siem Reap is said to be the gateway to an ancient civilization. The city is famous for the Angkor Wat temple, with plenty to do in and around the place. Being the epicentre of Cambodia, with numerous options to explore given the world-class wining and dining, spas and old shopping markets. All in all the destination provided a perfect landscape for the conference.
The JK Tyre National Fleet Conference has become a much anticipated event for key customers wherein they are provided a platform to exchange ideas, share suggestions and voice out views. “With major changes such as GST coming in, the markets and business practices are evolving. On day one of the event, the participants got a glimpse of the cultural heritage of Siem Reap. They were welcomed at the pre-dinner with cultural performances that gave the fleets a warm introduction to the heritage of the city. On the second day, an unforgettable visit to the Angkor Wat Temple was organized, followed by a brief tour to the Tonle Sap Lake and Old Market for shopping.
The evening dinner was a gala affair, as it showcased the journey and achievements of some of the key fleets of the group.
The business conference was held in the first half on the third day of the event, followed by an award ceremony. While the JK Tyre team shared the innovative 360° solution for fleets, some customers also presented on their business practices and ideas. The awards ceremony was a key highlight of the event where outstanding efforts of the fleet owners were recognized in various areas, including tyre management, best maintenance practices, business innovations and radialization.
